Description
Industry Day FBO Details The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Requirements and Capabilities Analysis (ORCA) is hosting an Industry Day for Accessible Property Screening Systems (APSS) Advanced Algorithm Enhancements to include Machine Learning for certified Checkpoint Computed Tomography (CT) systems inviting checkpoint CT vendors and expert third-party organizations who have proven experience in the Machine Learning domain. The third-party organizations may be from academia, private sector organizations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDCs), National Laboratories, or other federally funded entity. The goals of this Industry Day are to: * Communicate TSA's expectations, requirements, and milestones for the APSS Advanced Algorithm Enhancements for Checkpoint CT; * Engage expert third-party vendors in partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of Certified Checkpoint CTs to explore machine learning with innovative solutions in support of advanced detection algorithms. Third-party vendors should have expertise in using innovative machine learning approaches, applicable to security applications; and * Initiate requirements discussions between industry and government surrounding APSS Machine Learning algorithm development to include data image format and other key features. Please see the attachment for additional details and response instructions.
