Description
Statement of Work - Landscaping Services FEMA Region II currently controls four (4) bunkers located at 35 Mosquito Point on the Island of St. Thomas that require landscaping services. This area is susceptible to high growth of vegetation and requires periodic cleareance. Every quarter the selected contractor will; 1. Perform brush clearing to ensure the access roads and paths as well as ensuring access to bunkers. Brush will be cleared 3ft from any road, pathway, door or other access described below (with linear distances): - From 600ft outside the main gate - From main gate to second gate (964 ft) - From second gate to emergency generator (780 ft) - Access to bunker #2 (105 ft) - From second gate to bunkers #3 and #4 juction (1,000 ft) - Access to bunker #3 (195 ft) - Access to bunker #4 (355 ft) - To helipad area (275 ft) 2. Grass will be cut to length less than three inches in the specified locations and brush will be culled to ensure it does not encroach on the lawn. The following locations will have its grass cut: - Parking area on either side of the access road near the main bunker. The total are is slightly less than 1,000 square feet. - Helipad. The total area is about 2,000 square feet. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that the above maintenance procedures are performed on a quarterly basis. The contractor will be responsible to coordinate service visits with the assigned Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) and provide all bills to the assigned COTR. The contract period of performance will be for a minimun of one year (quarterly visits) with options to extend. Security Requirements: The quarterly maintenance will require a FEMA employee to let the contractor on the premises.
