Description

This is sources sought announcement issued in accordance with FAR Part 10. All responses will be used for market analysis in determining the availability of potential qualified small businesses that may be used to determine appropriate acquisition strategy. This is not a solicitation or a request for quote. The Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia SC 29209 is searching for a Mechanical Thrombectomy System that utilizes a vacuum and does not rely on medication to clear blood clots. The size standard for NAICS 339112 is 1,000 Employees. The Government is interested in all businesses including Large Business, Small Business, 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Woman Owned Small Businesses that currently manufacture this product. Submissions to this notice may be emailed to Joseph Locke, Contracting Officer at joseph.locke@va.gov. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The response date for this notice is 2pm EST on Monday, April 16, 2018.
