- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a delivery order under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) for the non-recurring engineering to productionize Minor Deviation Engineering Orders (MEOs) to include updating product baseline changes to the sub-tier supply tier. The procurement will be in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), in that SAC is the only known company with the knowledge, data, and capability to integrate and test these systems to satisfy the H-53K Program's requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and provide a capability statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within 15 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all responsible sources may submit a technical capability which will be considered by NAVAIR.
