Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations (OAO), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for existing Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) services in the territory of Guam with Teleguam Holdings LLC. This area already has Guam Telecom Authority brand name items in place and this proposed action is only for services. This contract will also allow for Moves, Add and Changes during the course of the year and subsequent periods of performance. The services being requested include, but are not limited to, Metro Ethernet data circuits, Primary Rate Interface (PRI) with Direct Inward Dialing (DID), analog phone lines, cell phones, and cellular broadband cards. The Contractor shall provide data services at the facilities 24 hours per day, seven days per week with maximum service availability. VA must remain the Customer of Record in order to receive priority service from Contractor. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517311. The anticipated award date is May 1, 2018. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such. This notification shall close on April 16, 2018.
