Vendor Information Request Form Repair Airfield Access Road Category Z - Maintenance, Repair or Alteration of Real Property Sources Sought Date Published: April 11th, 2018 Contact: Maine Air National Guard, 101 MSG/MSC, Bangor, ME 04401, SrA Adam Thibeault (adam.thibeault@us.af.mil) Synopsis: FKNN172117 Repair Airfield Access Road Sources Sought. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. Maine Air National Guard Base intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to "Repair Airfield Access Road". The 101 Air Refueling Wing Bangor, Maine has a requirement for FKNN172117 Repair of Airfield Access Road. All work shall be per specification, and sketches. The work to be completed on this project consists of (but not limited to) providing all plant, labor and materials to complete the following major descriptive items. Mill and remove existing layer of pavements, Install subgrade and HMA of new turn radius, Install new HMA pavements on remaining road, Maintain required quality standards, Vegetate areas affected by construction and Mark all areas where existing markings were removed. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 237310. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 20 April 2018. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (add link to form) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
