- Beckman Instrument List Beckman SOW SYNOPSIS: THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. THE SUBMISSION OF CAPABILITIES IS FOR MARKET INFORMATION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED AND ALLOWED UNDER THIS RFI IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 15.201(e) DISCLAIMER: This RFI does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response to the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any vendor responding to this notice should ensure its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the vendor's qualifications to perform the expected scope of work. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI and are advised the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of information or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses are received a Request for Quote (RFQ) may be published through FBO.gov. Responses to this notice will not be considered an adequate response to any RFQ. SOURCES SOUGHT DESCRIPTION: This is NOT a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 811219. Size Standard $20.5 M. Responses to this RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to, an RFQ may be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any vendor's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There are no solicitation documents associated with this announcement. OBJECTIVE: The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality of the services that will be satisfactory. The objective of the described effort is performing repairs and maintenance on approximately 157 government-owned Beckman Instruments that are used to support the intramural research program. The instruments to be covered by have been under continuous maintenance following the expiration of their respective warranties. The contractor must be trained and possess the licenses and certifications to perform the necessary tasks on instruments. Interested parties may responding to this notice should include: 1. Capability Statement (not to exceed ten pages in length) The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified propriety information of the submission of the contractor's information. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with applicable Government regulations. This is an RFI; please do NOT send any proposal. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to Brian Moyer at moyerbr@niehs.nih.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 EST, April 26, 2018. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interested parities must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this request.
