- DLA Land Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to procure spare Environmental Control Units, (ECU) used in Rigid Wall S-832/G and 842/G Shelters. The proposed acquisition will be for a single procurement. There is no record as to the last time the below referenced NSN was procured, but it is believed that Engineered Environments Inc. was the supplier for ECUs when the primary Materiel Developer (MATDEV) was on contract for the above mentioned, end item Rigid Wall Shelters. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, (Market Research) The purpose of this survey is to canvass the industry for other sources. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from industry, including small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms. The potential manufacturers or distributors must provide either: information/data/documentation which shows that they have, in fact previously supplied the EXACT SAME ECUs as described in the above table on a prior US government contract or provide documentation, such as a letter from DRS, (now HDT Expeditionary Systems CAGE # 92878) or from Engineered Environments Inc. CAGE #0LHE3, confirming that they are an authorized manufacturer or distributor of the above mentioned item. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. The US government has no manufacturing related technical data available for this item. All responses to this market survey must be received by 16 April 2018 at 5:00 PM EST.
