- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), on behalf of Durham VAMC is conducting market research through this Request for Information to seek qualified vendors for: Clinical Oncology Pathways High-quality oncology clinical pathways are detailed, evidence-based treatment protocols for delivering cancer care to patients with specific disease types and stages. When properly designed and implemented, oncology pathways can serve as a valuable tool in improving care quality and reducing costs. The vendor will provide services and access to view clinical content and algorithm data monthly on a secured website for up to 20 medical hematologists/oncologists. The vendor will ensure the access to content for reference only. No patient data will be entered in the systems. The monthly support and license fee is for content access for four (4) diseases in lung, colorectal prostate and breast. Salient Characteristics Specification requirements: Vendor will coordinate with client to identify users Configure user accounts to identified client users Provide access to the portal Make available the disease committee schedules and add interested client staff onto the disease committee invitations and email distribution lists. The vendor will manage the activities related to the user management. The VA will authorize users Deliverables: Disease Committee Participation: clinical staff may attend any disease committee meeting with full participation rights. The vendor will communicate and make available all clinical content developed by the Disease Committees. The vendor will communicate and make available within the Durham VA s environment any materials developed or licensed to support clinical care decisions (i.e. dose modification guidance, staging reference, etc.) Quarterly Clinical Content Meeting Participation. The vendor conducts quarterly network meetings with clinical staff for all customers (typically pharmacy and nursing resources) to review changes with the vendors pathways, discuss new treatment options emerging on the market, market issues that may be impacting acquisition of drugs, or insurance related issues. The hematologists/oncologists may attend those meetings. Training: Vendor will provide end users with webinar based training for all identified client users. User and Service Manuals: Vendor will provide electronic version of manuals. The period of performance is one year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541690, Size Standard: 15 million dollars and the Classification code is R415. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a Request For Information only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements.
