- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-97 (effective April 3, 2018). It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions can be found at https://www.acquisition.gov/?q=/browse/far/52. The solicitation number is 140P8518Q0022, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. The NAICS code is 324110 an associated small business size standard is 1,500 employees. This acquisition is Full and Open Competition. DESCRIPTION. The National Park Service (NPS), Yosemite National Park, has a requirement for supplying and delivering off road dyed red diesel#2 for four locations: Chinquapin, Wawona Maintenance Yard, Tioga Road, and Crane Flat. This work will also include and Option Item for supplying and delivering fuel at El Portal Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Government is soliciting quotes for firms having the capability to provide services on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ). The services may be required at any time of the year and must be delivered to a tanker trunk (Chinquapin, Wawona Maintenance Yard, Tioga Road, and Crane Flat) or an aboveground tank located in El Portal. The tanker truck is a 2,400 gallon and the tank at El Portal is aboveground, concrete, with a maximum capacity of 4,000 gallons. All tanks shall have no less than 50% in capacity at all times. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. The government intends to award a single, fixed price supply contract. An award is anticipated for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantities (IDIQ) type contract to be effective for a period of five years. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will cover services from June 1, 2018 through May 31, 2023. Pursuant to FAR Part 16.504, the minimum quantity that will be ordered as a result of this procurement as well as the maximum quantity reasonably expected to be ordered, will be included in the Request for Quote.
