- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center has a requirement to repair Air Handling Unit AC8E return air fan (RAF) in the HVAC system in the E Wing Penthouse Mechanical Room. This notice is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 Acquisition of Commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. Responses to this Request for Quote (RFQ) are due to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00pm(EST) on 05/10/2018. Responses should be sent to tamela.grandberry@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18, 2018 starting promptly at 10:00 AM at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center located at 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville Florida, 32608. Interested vendors shall meet inside of the front entrance in the front lobby near the reception desk. POC: Gregory Mock. Interested vendors planning to attend the site visit shall send an email prior to April 18, 2018 to the Contracting Officer tamela.grandberry@va.gov with RSVP HVAC REPAIR in the subject line with a short message in the body of the email indicating that you plan to attend the site visit. All questions regarding this solicitation (36C24818Q0440) are to be submitted to the Contracting Officer, via email, no later than 4:00pm (EST) on Monday April 23, 2018, via email. Questions will not be addressed via telephone. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications at https://www.sam.gov. This solicitation is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB) in accordance with VAAR clause 852.219-10. SDVOSB offerors must be verified with the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) to participate under the veterans First Contracting Program at the time of the response to this announcement at the following website: https://www.vip.gov.
