Description

Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to Spectrum Dynamics Medical, Inc (DUNS 078864620, 301 N Cattlemen RD, STE.109, Sarasota, FL 34232 for the following services: Spectrum Dynamics Imaging Systems. The estimated cost of this contract is $407,800. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 million for this procurement. The expected award date for this contract is on or about April 18th, 2018. The purpose of this service contract is to ensure that Spectrum Dynamics Imaging Systems at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care are covered for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and support. Contractor shall furnish all parts, maintenance kits, consumable and expendable items, and supplies necessary to perform schedule and unscheduled maintenance of the units. All materials and services provided shall be according to the OEM specifications and guidelines. During scheduled service intervals, all parts including new batteries and accessories shall be replaced at no additional cost. Responses shall be received no later than 7 calendar days after the posting of this notice and shall be submitted via e-mail only to Leslie Robinson, Contracting Officer, leslie.robinson@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and phone calls will not be returned. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement (based on the responses received to this notice) is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in responses. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Responses to this notice shall not be considered a response to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government if it is determined that it is in their best interest to do so.
