- Description of Amendments to Solicitation 36C26318Q0483, Audiometric Testing Suite 1. Regarding Pit and removal of existing booth and is facility new or old, the following question was asked: Question: I have a quick question: "this is being installed in an existing pit (do you have the current pit dimensions, depth we know) and is there an existing booth currently installed in this pit that has to be removed or is this a new install/faciity?" Answer: It is a new facility and the pit is not created yet. The pit will be created by the exterior dimensions of the booth of the vendor this procurement is awarded to. We understand that while a booth is created to match our interior dimension the external dimensions can fluctuate per manufacturer. There is no existing booth that needs to be removed. Thank you for the questions. 2. Regarding internal dimensions the following question was asked: Question: I bring your attention to 2.2 of the specifications. 2.2 Size: Audiometric booth shall have the following minimum ID. (interior dimensions): Exam Room I.D.:10'0" x 9'0" x 6'6" high. Control Room I.D.: 8'0" x 9'4" x 6'6" high. The dimensions provided do no work for this configuration booth (Double wall exam, Single wall control) Clarification is needed. The person asking the question provided a diagram not included here due to our concern with protecting proprietary information. Basically, he expressed that the internal dimensions we provided would make it difficult to create the outer rectangular booth configuration. Answer: Paragraph 2.2, which describes the internal dimensions of the booth states: 2.2 Size: Audiometric booth shall have the following minimum ID. (interior dimensions): Exam Room I.D.: 10'0" x 9'0" x 6'6" high. Control Room I.D.: 8'0" x 9'4" x 6'6" high. Is amended to: 2.2 Size: Audiometric booth shall have the following minimum ID. (interior dimensions): Exam Room I.D.: 10'0" x 9'0" x 6'6" high or 90 S.F. Control Room I.D.: 8'0" x 9'4" x 6'6" high or 75 S.F. Thank you for the question. - End of Amendment -
