- This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic contract, in accordance with part number(s) 12273121-2 and B6542PA which will include one NSN: 5342-01-074-3763, Cap, Filler, Opening. The proposed action is intended to be awarded competitively. This item is solicited on a Unrestricted Other than Full and Open Competitive basis. Terms are FOB Origin and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. First Destination Transportation (FDT) applies. Approved Source(s): General Dynamics Land CAGE 01417, Eaton Aerospace CAGE 97484 and Coast-to-Coast Aerospace CAGE 1Y5C0. "Item cited requires data which is restricted to contractors certified by DoD to access unclassified data per DoD 5220.22M. Certification is obtained by submitting DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, to the Defense Logistics Information Services." Configuration Control Applies. This item is not a commercial item. Item is not a critical application item. Measuring and Test Equipment (MT&E) applies. This item is a stock buy item. Requested delivery is 128 days ARO. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for Base year period with provisions included to extend the terms of the contract up to four (4) option year periods. The estimated annual quantity is 266 EA per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 67 EA (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity of 1970 EA over the five years. The minimum delivery order is 67 EA and the maximum delivery order quantity is 266 EA. Surge requirements does apply. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decisions may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be April 20 th, 2018.
