Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS), Gallup Indian Medical Center, Gallup, New Mexico intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Battered Families Services, Inc. for consultant services. Estimated contract award to be $45,000.00. NAICS 624221 applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contractor will provide outreach services pertaining to domestic violence prevention education and advocacy training for the youth, adults and elders within the schools and communities in Gallup Service Unit. The government believes that Battered Families Services Inc. is the only authorized provider capable of providing consultant services at a fair and reasonable price. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 3:00pm MDT on April 13, 2018. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
