- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE---------------------------------------------------------------- A solicitation will be posted this month for cone collection services occurring at various locations within Northern California's Shasta-Trinity National Forest on the South Fork-Trinity River and Shasta-McCloud Management Units. Collection times will vary based on weather and cone ripeness. Tree types may include Sugar Pine, RRSP (Rust-Resistant Sugar Pine), Jeffrey Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Incense Cedar, Douglas Fir. Estimated start date is July 1, 2018 but the period of performance may extend through 2019 if needed. Multiple Awards may be possible. The project may or may not be set aside based on available sources. Questions will not be answered until after the solicitation is posted, but parties may contact Sandra Vincent at svincent02@fs.fed.us to indicate interest in the project if desired.
