Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Contracting Office intends to modify contract VA241-15-C-0082 to exercise Option Year 1 in accordance with FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. The contract is for maintenance and service for the Maldi BioTyper Analyzer system located at the West Haven, CT VAMC with Bruker Daltonics, Inc. Bruker Daltonics, Inc. is the manufacturer of the equipment, and due to proprietary technology and sole access to OEM parts, Bruker Daltonics, Inc. is the only vendor who can provide the maintenance service. Contract VA241-15-C-0082 was awarded to Bruker Daltonics, Inc. on 4/20/2015. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers.
