Statement Of Work Veterans Benefits Administration Louisville Regional Office 321 West Main Street, Suite 390 Louisville, KY 40202 (502) 566-4344 Part 1 Section C Statement Of Work (SOW) General Information The contractor will provide 16 conference room chairs and one conference room table to the Louisville Regional Office. C.1 GENERAL: This is a non-personnel contract to acquire 16 conference room chairs and one conference room table and assemble if required. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract vendor providing the conference room furniture herein. Such contract providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. C.1.1 Description of the equipment: Quantity: 16 conference room chairs (brand name or equal to National Business Furniture Item #55606) The contractor shall provide 16 conference room chairs. The chairs shall be of the traditional style, durable with black faux leather with a life time guarantee. They shall feature wooden frame construction with faux leather upholstery. They shall be button-tuft and nail head trimmed upholstery. They shall have kick plates on each base prong to prevent scratching. The dimensions shall be approximately 26 W x 31.5 D x 43.5-46.5 H. The seat dimensions shall be approximately 20.5 W x 18 D x 17-19.25 H. The back dimensions approximately 21 W x 26 D and the weight of the chair shall be approximately 66 lbs. Quantity: 1 Conference room table (brand name or equal to National Business Furniture Item #40985) The contractor shall also provide one traditional 12 conference room table that features hardwood solid and wood veneer construction. The table should seat ten people comfortably and have three grommet holes. The table shall have three 4 sections each with a connection system that makes installing and moving the large table easy. The table will have pop-up power and connection options to make the conference table easily adaptable. It should have a genuine maple veneer construction with traditions-style moldings ensuring lasting strength and a regal appearance. As well as a 2 thick table edge for added durability. It shall have one wire grommet per 4 table top (three in total). The dimensions should be 144 W x 48 D x 30 H and weigh approximately 732 lbs. Chairs and conference table shall come with a lifetime guarantee. C.1.2 Background: The Louisville Regional Office is in need of new conference room furniture to accommodate the newly consolidated Fiduciary Hub working spaces. C.1.3 Objectives: The objective is to provide a quality product for the Louisville Regional Office employees. C.1.4 Scope: The contactor will acquire 16 conference room chairs and one conference room table and will also assemble the chairs and conference table and set up in the allocated space on the 3rd floor. All cartons, boxes and trash shall be removed from the Regional Office by the contractor. The product will be delivered to 321 West Main Street, Suite 390, Louisville, KY 40202. There is a dock connected to the building with a small freight elevator. C.1.5 Period of Performance: To be completed within 60 days of award. C.1.6 Recognized Holidays: The contractor will not be expected to perform on recognized federal holidays. C.1.7 Hours of Operation: The contractor is responsible for conducting business, between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. For other than firm fixed price contracts, the contractor will not be reimbursed when the government facility is closed for the above reasons. The Contractor must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this SOW when the Government facility is not closed for the above reasons. C.1.8 Place of Performance: The product is to be delivered to 321 West Main Street, Suite 390, Louisville, KY 40202.
