- Pre-solicitation advert/notice 1.General Summary of Capability Required. The services will generally include the following, at regular intervals*: a.Lawn maintenance (e.g., mowing, trimming, raking, etc...) b.Gardening (e.g., planting, pruning, etc...) c.Tree, hedge, and bush trimming d.Removal of plant debris e.Identify and/or rectify environmental factors negatively impacting plant-life *Note: detailed requirements will be provided in the solicitation package to all interested parties 2.Contract Details. The intention is to award a base plus 3-option year firm-fixed price contract to the qualified vendor who provides a proposal that credibly addresses the requirements identified in the solicitation package, and is the lowest priced of all technically acceptable offers. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. 3.Interested Vendors. All those interested in preparing/submitting a proposal for this contract are requested to send an email to the Procurement Staff at the U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town. For those vendors unable to send the request electronically (see Contact Information box at the bottom of the page). Please reference the RFQID when submitting an email of interest for this advertisement. Only qualified vendors from who we've received requests on or before the RESPOND BY DATE* will receive the solicitation package. *Note: Procurement Staff will send a confirmation of your request within 4 business days of receipt. If you do not receive a confirmation, you must assume your request was not received, and are encouraged to send the message again, and follow-up with a call to the Procurement Staff (on/before the deadline) to ensure your request is received. a.Solicitation Package. The Procurement staff of the U.S. Consulate General in Cape Town will provide the solicitation package to all qualified, interested parties after the response deadline has expired. b.Vendor Registration. All contractors must be registered in the U.S. Government's System for Award Management (SAM) Database* prior to contract award pursuant to the U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are highly encouraged to register in SAM prior to submitting a proposal - www.sam.gov
