Page 1 of 1 The successful Design Build Team shall provide all technical design services, supervision, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for providing complete engineering, design and construction to replace approximately 205 existing windows, including some doors, in Building #7, with hurricane impact windows designed to withstand 150 MPH wind criteria, established by industry standards. This requirement will be procured utilizing two-phase Design-Build selection procedures. Project Title: "Replace Remaining Hurricane Windows Building #7 Project No. 546-18-105 Location: Miami VA Medical Center, Miami, FL. 33125. Magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 238350 with a small business size standard of $15 million. This procurement is 100% set aside to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 8127(d). To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be CVE certified and verified in the VetBiz Registry at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The SDVOSB must also be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) under NAICS Code 238350. The solicitation will be posted o/a April 19, 2018 on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Interested parties can download the solicitation documents from www.fbo.gov. NO HARD COPY DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. Offerors should continue to monitor FBO for the RFP and any subsequent amendments.
