Description
Reps & Certs SBU Instruction GSA 527 Vendor Fitness Manual Past Performance Survey Wage Determination Sample Bid Schedule Scope of Work Solicitation & Agreement The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is seeking sources capable of performing Upgrades to the Existing Fire Sprinkler System in the Hale Boggs Federal Building, 600 Poydras St. New Orleans, LA. The sprinkler rework will consist of correcting sprinkler spacing deficiencies and replacing standard response heads with quick response heads. The contractor shall remove and dispose of all removed sprinklers. GSA will provide an inspection survey performed by a registered professional fire protection engineer that identifies and lists deficient areas to assist the Sprinkler contractor to correct the known sprinkler findings in the bldg. We request a qualified, licensed fire sprinkler contractor to inspect, bid and perform corrections as indicated on the inspection survey. All sprinkler work is to be performed in accordance with the Latest Edition of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13 Standard for Installation of Sprinkler Systems. GSA does not allow use of the small room rule. The GSA Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) is the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for all technical issues relating to Fire Protection and shall be the sole interpreter of all Codes, Standards and design guides. The estimated cost range for all work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000. In accordance with FAR Part 19 this procurement will be a Total Small Business Set- Aside. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220 with a size standard of $15 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the pre-solicitation synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 calendar days to complete. Any award resulting from this procurement will be based on a source selection employing a "Best Value Concept" methodology. To be eligible for contract award, a firm must be registered in the System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov, the Department of Labor's VETS 4212 Database at thttps://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.htm
