- RFI-391-18-YWPD1 This Request for Information (RFI) solicits information and potential interest from organizations in the public and private sector (both for-profit and not-for-profit), including international and Pakistan-based corporate entities, Government of Pakistan, local and international civil society organizations, and Pakistani diaspora groups, with the requisite expertise, interest and resources for potential partnerships with USAID to implement development activities in the workforce value chain (i.e., recruitment, training, certification and/or evaluation of work environment, and employee performance). Specific sectors of interest include: manufacturing, agriculture, and services, including health, education, banking and non-banking financial institutions, construction, and information communication and technology. USAID also welcomes information on innovative ideas that maximize the use of mobile application technology within the workforce development value chain. Please refer to Attachment A for additional information. Responses should focus on employment opportunities for youth residing in Karachi, Northern Sindh, South Punjab, KP, and FATA. Note that employment opportunities for these youth may be anywhere within and/or outside Pakistan. To achieve maximum impact and scale interventions, respondents should identify opportunities to leverage resources to the greatest extent possible.
