- Questions will be accepted in writing to Morgan Brady at morgan.brady@usmc.mil until 4:00 PM EST on 11 April 2018. Program Executive Officer, Land Systems (PEO LS) Marine Corps, Quantico, VA, has a requirement for business, acquisition, logistics, engineering, and administration related activities in support of the Program Manager, Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA) Program Office. The requirement consists of activities related to acquisition policy and program documentation development; program analysis; logistics management; financial management; and engineering support. This is a Special Notice for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. The PM AAA Program will be hosting an Industry Day on 18 April 2018 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for parties interested in responding to the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP). The event is to provide interested parties with a program overview, the support required for the Program Office, and a timeline for contract execution. It will provide representatives from industry the opportunity to submit their questions, and receive Government responses prior to release of the RFP. The Industry Day event will be held at 105 Tech Parkway, Stafford, VA 22556, Suite 203 Conference Room 228. The Government will not pay for any expenses incurred to attend this event in response of this notice. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be issued within the month of May 2018, via Seaport-E. In order to be eligible for Industry Day attendance and participation, all interested parties must be a Small Business, and registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and have a current Seaport-E contract registered for the National Capital Zone. Registration is required for all attendees, since space and seating is very limited. Attendance is limited to a total of three (3) individuals per bidder (i.e.; any combination of small and large businesses). Large businesses may attend with a small business, but must be registered by the small business. Please email RSVPs to the attention of Ms. Morgan Brady at morgan.brady@usmc.mil, with a copy to Ms. Alicia Sims at alicia.sims@usmc.mil by 4:00 PM EST 29 March 2018. A Draft PWS has been uploaded for review prior to the Industry Day event. Questions will be accepted in writing to Morgan Brady at morgan.brady@usmc.mil until 4:00 PM EST on 11 April 2018. Submitted questions will be answered at the 18 April 2018 Industry Day Event, additional questions may also be allowed at the event, in writing, however, the Government reserves the right to not answer a question. Following the Industry Day event questions and responses will be published via the Federal Business Opportunities website located at www.fbo.gov for public viewing. There will be no one-on-one discussions held during the event. All communications shall be made via the Contracting Officer or designated representative.
