The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. VA is required by Public Law 109-461 to give priority to SDVOSB and VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside. If insufficient veteran owned and small business response is received to establish the basis for setting this action aside for other than large business participation then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following service for the Salisbury, W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury, NC 28144: DESCRIPTION Annual toner inclusive maintenance agreement for the following equipment: Item Number Description 8116B084AA Maintenance for CANON (VPDP130) - Estimated BW Copies 9116B019AA Maintenance for CANON (IPC10000VPST) - Estimated BW Copies 9116B019AA Maintenance for CANON (IPC10000VPST) - Estimated Color Copies 8499B002AA Maintenance for CANON (IPRC850 US) - Estimated BW Copies 8499B002AA Maintenance for CANON (IPRC850 US) - Estimated Color Copies REQUIREMENTS Must be an authorized service provider for CANON USA. All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to takira.peoples@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
