RFQ: 36C26218Q0490 REF: 600-18-2-441-0093 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation in its entirety; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement shall be conducted under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 19 Small Business Programs, and Veteran Affairs Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information in this notice. Award to this solicitation shall be based on the Quoter's ability to provide those specific supplies and services stated in this combined synopsis solicitation. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Solicitation number 36C26218Q0490 is issued as a Brand Name or Equal Request For Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339112 and the selected Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6515. The Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) has a requirement to purchase Electrosurgical / Electrocautery Hemostasis & Coagulation Equipment. This is a Brand Name or Equal Request For Quote (RFQ) IAW FAR 52.211-6 and VAAR 852.211-73 Brand Name or Equal, with the salient characteristics of the requested items listed below. Any items quoted as equal not conforming to the requirements of clause 52.211-6 will be considered non-responsive and not considered for award. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed contract. Due to time constraints, responses to the solicitation shall be due on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 08:00 AM PST.
