Description
Introduction This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for market research purposes. Iron Mountain Information Management (Iron Mountain) LLC is the current vendor performing service for off-site data storage services for nine Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) sites. Currently the tapes are being storage from Iron Mountain. As there is no need for the storage tapes the customer is requesting the destruction of the tapes that are currently residing at the Iron Mountain facilities. This acquisition will be processed non-competitively under authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements to Iron mountain located at 18210 Michael Faraday Drive, Suite 100, Reston, Virginia 20190. ). However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) contract modification for data storage services to Iron Mountain. The period of performance for this effort will be two months. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Contract Specialist, Alma Aliaj, and e-mail: Alma.Aliaj@va.gov by Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 4: 00 PM EST.
