Description
**THIS IS A "SOURCES SOUGHT" NOTICE** The 119th Wing, North Dakota Air National Guard, in Fargo, ND may have an upcoming project that may require 6,000 cubic yards of concrete. This concrete would be required to be delivered to the 119th Wing in Fargo, ND over the timeframe of early July to late August, 2018 (delivery is anticipated to be spaced out over a 6 to 7 week period). In general terms, this concrete would need only to be delivered to the project site located within the confines of the installation. This announcement is NOT a solicitation. At this time, this requirement has not yet been completely defined; however, a solicitation may be issued when a hard requirement has been defined for this potential project. Market Research is currently being conducted to determine potential sources who may be able to fulfill this requirement. The general concrete properties that would be required to be met for this potential requirement are the following: Quantity: 6,000 Cubic Yards. · Compressive Strength: When tested in accordance with ASTM C 39/C 39M at 28 days: 4500 psi. · Fly Ash Content : Maximum 20 percent of cementitious materials by weight. · Cement Content : Minimum 611 lb per cubic yard. · Water-Cement Ratio : Maximum 42 percent by weight. · Total Air Content: (exposed slabs only): 6% (+/- 1 percent), determined in accordance with ASTM C173/C173M. Maximum Slump: 4 inches. If you are an interested vendor who has the capability to meet this requirement, please respond to this Sources Sought announcement with your System for Award Management (S.A.M.) registered business name, Cage Code, DUNS Number and Capabilities Statement. Again, this announcement is not a solcitation and does not in any way bind the U.S. Governmment to any promise, obligation or contract.
