Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The Veterans Benefits Administration, Boise Regional Benefit Office, 444 W. Fort Street, Boise, Idaho 83702 has a requirement for the Disassembly, Removal and Disposal of its High Density Mobile Files System and all associated components. The contractor shall dismantle and remove approximately 28-bay system consisting of 11 electrically-operated tandem bays and 6 stationary single bays. Manufacturer is Space Saver. The dimensions of the tandem bays are 20 long, 25 wide, and 83 high. The single bays are 20 long, 12 wide (two bays) and 15 wide (four bays), and 82 high. The removal shall include, but is not limited to all electrical connections, file shelves, carpet tiles and adhesive, plywood sub-flooring, and rails. Upon completion of the removal of the File System rails (rails are anchored with tapcon) the Contractor shall restore the concrete floor to the original smooth level surface and sweep and mop the finished surface and put back in place the carpet tiles. The contractor shall remove all materials to include file system from the property. The applicable NAICS code is 484210. This procurement will be set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses with valid registrations at the VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) website (http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) as well as valid registration at the System for Award Management, website (http://sam.gov/). Both company profiles must be registered under the applicable NAICS codes to be considered responsive. It is anticipated a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted at www.FBO.gov within the two (2) days. Questions regarding this announcement and subsequent RFQ may be directed to the Contracting Officer via email to Bertha V. Leguizamon at bertha.leguizamon@va.gov.
