Description

This is a source(s) sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS codes 485510. The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a Contractor to provide one or two DOT certified and licensed chartered buses capable of transporting at least 56 passengers with restroom and entertainment systems. Transportation will be for Veterans and Care Givers from the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System to: Castaways Disabilities Trip at Moravia, IA from May 06, 2018 to May 12, 2108 National Veterans Tee Tournament at Iowa City, IA from September 09, 2018 to September 14, 2018 Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Response to Request To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached document titled Sources Sought Notice and return via email to the Contract Specialist, John Milroy, Email: john.milroy@va.gov by 4:00PM April 5, 2018 This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought notice is strictly for market research purposes. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
