Description

J&A for Sole Source Procurement NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), North East Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Ecosystems Surveys Branch located at Woods Hole, Massachusetts intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Scanmar Asgardstrand, Norway for single award for the purchase of Scanmar parts to support the Bottom Trawl Survey. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334511 with a business size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that demonstrates their products capabilities and specification. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
