The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either an unrestricted competition or set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to this market survey. Introduction/Description: The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. This specification, together with the referenced specifications, standards, and drawings, cover the requirements for the work associated with (but not limited to) the design, fabrication, and delivery of equipment buildings to be used for FAA Localizer (LOC), Expanded Localizer (XLLOC), Glide Slope (GS), Expanded Glide Slope (XLGS), Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Runway Alignment Indicator Lights (MALSR). Design and fabrication of outdoor metal equipment buildings Delivery of the buildings to the site and off-loading the buildings at the site. The contractor will plan for nighttime offloading of all shelters (0001 to 0600) local time. All fabrication, equipment installation, and initial testing shall be done indoors at the contractor ™s shop. The contractor shall allow open access to the FAA while fabrication and equipment installation is taking place. Shelter #1: Pullman, WA (PUW) The contractor will provide one (1) MALSR shelter, one (1) GS Shelter, and one (1) expanded LOC shelter. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: design, fabrication, delivery, offloading, and final placement of the shelters at the Pullman, WA airport (PUW). Anticipated delivery date is 5/1/19 (this date may be changed at the discretion of the government). Shelter #2 Aniak, AK (ANI) The contractor will provide one (1) MALSR shelter, one (1) expanded GS Shelter, and one (1) LOC shelter. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: design, fabrication, and delivery of the shelters at the Aniak, AK airport (ANI). The contractor will ship the shelters to ANI on flatbed trailers. Offloading from the barge, and final placement will be accomplished by others. Anticipated delivery date is 5/1/19 (this date may be changed at the discretion of the government). Shelter#3 (Bid OPTION Item) - Butte, MT (BTM) The contractor will provide one (1) GS Shelter. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: design, fabrication, delivery, offloading, and final placement of the shelters at the Butte, MT airport (BTM). Anticipated delivery date is 6/1/18 (this date may be changed at the discretion of the government at a minimum 45 days ™ notice will be given to the contractor for fabrication). Shelter #4 (Bid OPTION Item) Monterey, CA (MRY) The contractor will provide one (1) LOC Shelter. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: design, fabrication, delivery, offloading, and final placement of the shelters at the Monterey, CA airport (MRY). Anticipated delivery date is 9/1/18 (this date may be changed at the discretion of the government at a minimum 45 days ™ notice will be given to the contractor for fabrication). Complete Solicitation expected to be posted and/or distributed no later than April 13, 2017. Interested offerors are required to submit their written interest in response to this procurement to elsa.gonzalez@faa.gov by 5:00 PM local time on April 6, 2018 Response replies must include the following information: 1.
