- N0001917R00810003 Amended Solicitation Attachment (1) PWS dated 20 March 2018 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) received the following questions: Question: In regards to solicitation N0001917R0081, is there any information that the Government can provide to help us properly price this effort? Response: The Government will be providing all Technical Manuals referenced in the Performance Work Statement, Enclosures and Appendices to Attachment (1) in Section J of this Solicitation, and Historical Usage Data (to be used for informational purposes only) via a CD. Full instructions on how to obtain this CD can be found in the attached amendment to Solicitation N0001917R0081 under Section LA-1. Question: As long as I meet all of the qualifications listed in the solicitation is this an open bid? Response: As stated in the solicitation and the FBO announcement this effort is intended to be a full and open competition. Question: Is the required response date still 19 April 2018? Response: Per Solicitation Amendment N0001917R00810003 Volume 3 Past Performance shall be submitted by 2:00PM on 9 April 2018, all other volumes of the proposal are due by 2:00PM on 30 April 2018. Question: Paragraph 3.5.6.5.2 of the March 7 SOW states that all Second Stage Turbine Vanes with TSN/TSR greater than 1200 engine flight hours are to be replaced with new parts. Historically repairing the parts if possible has been the preference to 100% replacement. Please clarify this statement. Response: Please see Attachment (1) PWS dated 20 March 2018. Paragraph 3.5.6.5.2 has been clarified. Question: Regarding the replacement of fuel nozzles, is paragraph 3.5.6.5.1 of the PWS accurate? Response: Yes, the PWS is accurate. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit required information for this effort as described above and in the RFP to Regina.Ford@navy.mil and Selinda.Joyner@navy.mil by 2:00 PM (local time) on 30 April 2018.
