Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This solicitation is issued as a Commercial Solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. The solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-95. It is the contractor s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is a 100% small-business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336214 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. All quotes are due by 08:30 AM EST, Friday, March 30, 2018. The VHA NCO 06 - Contracting Office requires the following items: Equipment Required Item DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT UNIT PRICE AMOUNT Morgue Trailer See Salient Characteristics 1 EA Total Price: DELIVERY: within 120 days of award Delivery to: SALISBURY VAMC, 1601 Brenner Ave, Salisbury, NC 28144; FOB Destination within 120 days of award. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a firm fixed-priced contract to the responsible offeror who is the lowest priced and conforms to the characteristics listed in the Salient Characteristics section. The Government intends to make an award based on the initial quotations. Refrigerated morgue trailer must be capable of holding a minimum of 12 total remains. Refrigerated morgue trailer must come with 3 each 4 tier cadaver racks. Racks must be a minimum of 80.6 inches long 26.6 inches wide and 73 inches tall. Part #CR-4T-CR-24SMTR Refrigerated morgue trailer must come with 12 Stainless steel Cadaver storage trays. 78 inches long 23 inches wide and 4 inches deep Part # MRS-CTR-SS-1 Refrigerated morgue trailer Must be a minimum of 14 Feet long X 8-foot-wide X 7 foot 6 inches high and a maximum of 14 Feet long X 8-foot-wide X 8 foot (interior height) Refrigerated morgue trailer must include a minimum of a 48-inch-wide rear ramp door with ramp extension and gap cover. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have non-skid, one-piece marine grade rubber flooring. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have commercial grade composite sidewall and ceiling with 4 inches of closed cell spray foam insulation. Rated 8000 watts Maximum output of 10000 watts. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have an aluminum vented generator cover. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have a maximum gross weight of 10,400 Pounds. Morgue trailer must include a minimum of a 3-year warranty on trailer and a minimum 1-year warranty on refrigeration and electrical. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have an undercoated main frame. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have DOT certified LED exterior lighting. Refrigerated morgue trailer must Duel electronic breaks with battery breakaway system. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have tandem Torflex EZ lube axles. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have standard spare tire. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have Speed clip rack / load securing system installed. Refrigerated morgue trailer must have a single point electrical distribution panel with intergraded 110-volt breakers 12-volt fuses and a 12-volt battery with 12-volt converter. Refrigerated morgue trailer must include 12-volt interior lighting and exterior loading lights.
