Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Office of Chief Financial Officer intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis to Centerplate, 2187 Atlantic St Ste 6, Stamford, CT, 06902 Banquet/Catering services at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the Financial Management Training event scheduled for May 21-23, 2018. Centerplate is the official/sole source in-house catering/banquet provider at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and they are exclusive for all banquet services with-in the facility. No other vendor are available to provide the banquet services needed at this Convention Center. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received by COB, April 1, 2018 and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All respondents must be registered in SAM.GOV, and current firms must update once a year to maintain active status. Please visit the www.sam.gov website to register and update information.
