- Description
- This effort supports operational functions and responsibilities primarily within the Corporate Operations Competency and seeks to align selective supporting services to gain efficiencies in processes, expedience to capabilities and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance support to achieve the Commands primary goal of Integrated Product Team (IPT) success. The Command is seeking a single contractor to apply a holistic approach to managing the support functions outlined in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) with the intent to rapidly make assets and resources available to the IPT. The expectation is that one contractor can readily identify and improve process efficiencies with a flexible workforce. The attached RFI/Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request For Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are not offers and do not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. At this time, the Navy is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. All costs incurred or associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the respondents expense. Small businesses having the capabilities to perform the tasking below are encouraged to reply to this notice. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If an RFP is issued, it will be synopsized on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov and the SPAWAR e-Commerce Central website at https://e- commerce.spawar.navy.mil. It is the responsibility of the potential responders to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Based on the analysis of the responses hereto, the Government reserves the right to consider potential set-asides for small business. Contractors must submit their response via email to Wenda.Mistak@navy.mil and Adam.Solivan@navy.mil by Noon, Eastern Time (EST) on 6 April 2018. The deadline for submission of questions specific to this RFI is 3 April 2018. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. A copy of the RFI/Sources Sought and the Draft PWS is posted at the SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic E-Commerce Business Opportunity webpage.
