Description
The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate (LE), Los Angeles Air Force base awarded a $290,594,130 Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (DUNS: 120406462) at Hawthorne, California for the EELV Phase 1A GPS III mission launch service with options for 2 additional GPS III launch services (FA8811-18-C-0001). These launch services will deliver the GPS III satellite to its intended orbit with an expected ILC of December 2019. This launch service contract will include services for launch vehicle production, mission integration, and launch operations for a GPS III mission with a period of performance through March 2020. Additionally, the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate (LE), Los Angeles Air Force base awarded a $351,839,510 Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to United Launch Services (DUNS: 603197968) at Centennial, Colorado for the EELV Phase 1A AFSPC-8 and AFSPC-12 mission launch services (FA8811-18-C-0002). These launch services will deliver the AFSPC-8 and AFSPC-12 satellites to its intended orbit with an expected ILC of April 2020 and January 2020, respectively. This launch service contract will include services for launch vehicle production, mission integration, and launch operations for the AFSPC-8 and AFSPC-12 missions with a period of performance through June 2020 and March 2020, respectively.
