- Issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic for two approved source: Prestolite Electric Inc., Cage 24975; Part number: MK-44-1 and Texas Connector, Co., Cage 342W5; Part Number AMA-2352, which will include one NSN: 5940-00-450-5802, Terminal Kit. This item is Unrestricted. Terms are FOB destination and Inspection and at Origin. This item is not a commercial item. This item is a stock item. This item include critical application. Requested delivery is 78 Days ARO. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for base year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to one (4) option year period. The estimated annual quantity is 387KT per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 97 KT (base year only) and a total contract maximum quantity of 563 KT over the 5 years. The minimum delivery order is 97 KT and the maximum delivery order quantity is 387 KT each. Surge requirements do applicable. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be March 20, 2018. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
