- The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement in support of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) to supply medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, dental, laboratory, veterinary equipment and material sets for the U.S. Army medical units, nonmedical units and medical support programs with SKOs assemblages requirement. These units and support programs include but are not limited to the U.S. Army Active, Reserve, National Guard Components; Army Prepositioned Stocks program; and Foreign Military Sales program. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation has been scheduled to be released via FedBizOps (www.fbo.gov) to the vendor community in May of 2018 and will close 30 days after issuance. Specifications of the requirement shall be provided in solicitation W81XWH-18-R-0013. This will be an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of a twelve (12) month base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option years. This is an Unrestricted Competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 500 employees. The resultant contract will encompass firm fixed price lines items. Contract award is estimated by or before March 2019. Those interested in obtaining the solicitation (once it is posted) can access it at the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov and search for solicitation W81XWH-18-R-0013. Requests made by phone will not be accepted. No solicitations will be provided by hard copy, fax, or e-mail. All offerors are responsible for checking for amendments to the solicitation from the Internet. The Government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an Offeror's inability to access the documents posted at the referenced website. To be eligible for an award or payment from any DoD activity, offerors must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov. This includes the on-line representations and certifications located within SAM. Please note, there will be a pre-solicitation conference for this requirement on 4 April 2018 from 0900-1130. The location for the pre-solicitation conference is the National Cancer Institue, Frederick Campus, Auditorium (BLDG 549) located at Fort Detrick, MD. Please find the instructions for attendance, attached. All vendors interested in submitting a proposal in response to this solicitation are encouraged to attend.
