Description
This amendment contains the following additions and changes: 1)The following Language has been Changed in Section D.2.1.1.12 INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING A QUOTE: IMPORTANT: For your 2018 ambulance offer, it is understood that you are offering a ground ambulance that is in compliance with the requirement as stated in D.2 of this solicitation. For each ambulance or level of service being offered, a new resource will need to be added and a module/unit name will need to be entered in the Equipment ID/VIN field. The name you enter in to the VIN space will distinguish your company as well as a separate resources. For Example: "ABCD ALS AMB 1" or ABCD BLS AMB 6. There is only space for 17 characters in the VIN field; abbreviations must clearly identify company name and module/unit number. For award purpose, the Equipment ID/VIN offered will need to be the module/unit name. The amount of modules/units offered for all dispatch centers in the State of Montana combined will need to be equal to or less than the number of Permits matched to VINs submitted by the vendor. 2) In the wizard, click the CONTINUE button to proceed to the Select Resources step and in the table, scroll through the list to find the 2018 generic resource (ALS/BLS Ambulance) that qualifies for the generic solicitation. Use the distinct ambulance module/unit name that you used when setting up your individual resources (Step A-4 above) to find the 2018 generic resource. 2)The following Language has been Changed in Section D.16 PRE-SEASON INSPECTIONS c) Verification of the EMS and Trauma Systems Section of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services permit issued for each ambulance offered. (List ambulance VIN numbers and corresponding permits) 3)Answers to Questions Received: (This list includes questions and answers from the March 15th, 2018 1800-2000 preproposal meeting in Missoula, MT) QUESTION: Do ambulance personnel require fireline qualifications? ANSWER: Ambulance personnel do not require Firefighter Type 2 fireline qualifications, but all ambulance personnel assigned to an incident require a current RT-130 Annual Fireline Refresher in accordance with D.2.1.1.3 TRAINING/EXPERIENCE of the solicitation.
