Description

Network Contracting Office NCO 22 intends to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single firm fixed price contract for Project 605-16-430 4SW Bathroom remodel located at the VAMC Loma Linda, CA 92357. The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to accomplish the project as indicated on the attached contractual documents. The project will involve but not be limited to trades required for the complete renovation of three stairwells. Period of Performance is 217 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, specifications and drawing will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of all bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendments, etc. regarding this solicitation. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation. The contract will be awarded in accordance with procedures specified in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as an RFP conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15. This is being solicited as a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236210 Industrial Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $35.6 million. The magnitude of construction is between $500.000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about April 16, 2018. In Accordance with FAR 5.203, this notice is being published at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation.
