- Page 2 of 2 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. Solicitation 36C26218Q0447 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. This procurement will be issued under as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code is 339112 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard 1,000 Employees. The Government is seeking a contract to acquire a Cryoablation System. This solicitation is seeking brand name or equal to products that meet the following salient characteristics: Must use Argon and Helium gas. Must have real-time needle tip temperature to confirm needle performance during procedure. Must be able to use multiple needles to have a larger freeze area. Must have a fast thaw time that helps to shorten the procedure time. System must be compatible with IceForce Cryoablation Needles. Place of Performance: VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VASDHS), 11201 Benton Street Loma Linda, CA 92357. Period of Performance: Within 90 days of placing order or sooner if available. Provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial and 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Furthermore, Provision 52.212-2 is utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) on an Acceptable/Unacceptable evaluation process.
