Description
Required Services and Qualification Fire Extinguisher Inspector's License/Certification: NFPA 10 certification meeting the Service, Maintenance, Recharge and Hydrostatic requirements Fire Extinguisher Inspector's Prior Experience: Respective Contractor shall have a minimum of two (2) year experience on 150lbs Halon flight line fire extinguisher inspection and maintenance services IAW NFPA Standard 10. A. Contractor shall be responsible for Annual Service, 6-year complete maintenance, (12-Year ) Hydrostatic Testing, Recharging, Refurbishment, Salvage and Record Keeping/Documentation of all types of hand held portable fire extinguishers (approx. 2,400 Each). B. Contractor shall be responsible for the Monthly Inspection, Annual Service, 6-year complete maintenance, (12-Year ) Hydrostatic Testing, Recharging, Refurbishment, Salvage and Record Keeping/Documentation of all 150-pound Halon flight line wheeled fire extinguishers, and war reserve materials (WRM) 150-pound Halon flight line wheeled fire extinguishers (approx. 152 Halon flight line wheeled fire extinguishers in all). C. All procedures shall be conducted in accordance with the current edition of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 10, Air Force Occupational Safety and Healthy (AFOSH) 91-506, Technical Order and TO 13F4-4-121. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible for managing and tracking all government-furnished Halon 1211.
