PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE posted 1/29/2018 GSA has a requirement for design/build office space for the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in the James M. Fitzgerald U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building in Anchorage, Alaska. FAR 52.219-3 Notice of Total HUBZone Set-Aside is applicable to this solicitation. FAR 36.204 The magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The Solicitation will be posted on 2/15/2018. END OF PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION NOTICE and PACKAGE POSTED 2/15/2018 This solicitation is for design/build office space for the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in the James M. Fitzgerald U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building in Anchorage, Alaska. A Price Proposal and a Technical Proposal is required with offer. See pages 7-9 of the solicitation document for proposal requirements. Pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held on 2/28/2018 at 10:30 AM; see page 6 of the solicitation document for details and instructions on attending the conference. Questions are to be directed to the Contracting Officer, via email to amy.heusser@gsa.gov. FAR 52.228-1 Bid Guarantee is applicable. The amount of the bid guarantee shall be 20% of the bid price. The Bid Guarantee is required with the offer. FAR 52.228-15, Performance and Payment Bonds Construction is applicable. Bonds are required 10 days after the contract is awarded. Liquidated Damages are not applicable to the contract resulting from this solicitation. US Department of Labor, Construction Wage Determination is applicable and is attached. Offers are due to the Contracting Officer by 1:00 PM Alaska Time on March 15, 2018. See SF1442 and page 6 of the solicitation document. END OF SOLICITATION NOTICE NOTICE AMENDMENT No. AMEND 001 Posted 3/12/2018 This amendment extends the due date for Offers to April 3, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Alaska Time. This amendment provides questions and answers to most of the questions received to date. A future amendment will answer the remaining questions. A 2nd site visit is scheduled for March 20, 2018 at 9:30 AM; meeting in the GSA Office at 222 W. 7th Ave., Room #151, Anchorage, Alaska. Companies attending must send an email to the Contracting Officer ( amy.heusser@gsa.gov ) with names of all persons attending for that company.
