- ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS FROM THE RFP 36C24418R0325: THERE IS A NEW SOW SEE ATTACHED MODIFICATION QUESTION 1: Section 1.1 CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION DATA The Invoice submission interval is not checked off (it is also left blank in Section A.4). We normally invoice our VA customers on a monthly basis. Please confirm the invoice submission interval. ANSWER 1: THIS HAS NOT CHANGED FOR THE VA. PLEASE SUBMIT ALL INVOICES THROUGH OB10 SEE LINK http://www.tungsten-network.com/customer-campaigns/veterans-affairs/ QUESTION 2: Section 1.2 SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS Please confirm that the items and quantities listed (page 7) represent a monthly pound total for each product category: General Linen 11,891.04 OR/Surgical Linen 5,085.60 Uniforms 63,542.40 MOPS 26,856.00 The chart listing the Item Descriptions and Estimated Annual Quantity (page 7) does not add up to the Estimated Annual Quantity of 1,323,300 lbs. on the second chart (page 8). Contract term listed in the solicitation is for one (1) year. Are there any option years? Section 1.2.2 Packaging Item 6.1.1.9 Patient personal clothing -- what are the annual pounds for this category? Item 7.1.1.8 Scrubs used as a uniform must be finished and placed on hangars. Item 10.1.4 surgical scrubs must be tumble dried and folded. How will the contractor know which scrubs are used as uniforms and which are not? Will they be clearly marked? Are surgical scrubs included in the category of uniforms or as OR surgical linen ? Item 9.1.1.7 Pajamas are they included as general linen or patient clothing ? Item 10.1.18 Patient s Personal Clothing, which is not on hangars does this refer to items such as socks and undergarments? If so, are these items labeled? If yes, does the label list the patient room number? Our concern is the need to understand how the contractor will be able to identify the garments that are not hung on hangars and return them to the correct patient.
