- INVERTED FLUORESCENT MICROSCOPE This Amendment is to answer submitted questions. No further questions will be accepted. QUESTION: Is this set-aside for Small Business? ANSWER: No QUESTION: What Filter cubes and Magnifications are required? ANSWER: Filters DAPI, GFP, TR and CY5; Magnifications 2X, 10X, 40X, oil 60X and oil100X QUESTION: Are the mutiwell plates to be images plastic or glass. What is the highest magnification you need (the typical is 63x oil for glass)? A combination of 5x, 10x, 20x, 40x and 63x? ANSWER: Plastic plates. Magnification 2-100 (63 and 100 oil) QUESTION: When you referred to incubation in dark room, do you mean the scope will be in a dark room in which case the chamber can be transparent, or do you mean the incubation enclosure will be the dark room itself in which case? ANSWER: Incubation inclosure QUESTION: How long of time-lapse would you do? Do you need a hardware focus stabilization mechanism? For image for multiple days? ANSWER: Time series-few minutes to 24 hours QUESTION: The requisition says requires a life cell imaging chamber. This can be interpreted vaguely as if imaging is performed over short periods of time, it can be done on a standard chamber. However, for long term imaging additional components are required. These components include CO2, temperature and humidity regulation. Can you specify if it will be required to include these controllers (CO2, temp and humidity)? ANSWER: long term imaging, minutes to days QUESTION: Can we submit two different options, one in a boxed setting and one more traditional? ANSWER: Boxed QUESTION: Can you please clarify all different imaging holders (Slides, dishes, multi-well plates) also in the case of dishes and plates, will they be glass or plastic bottom? ANSWER: Mainly plastic 25CC-75CC flasks. 6-well to 96-well plastic plates. Haemocytomer QUESTION: In regards to the configuration, are you mainly doing plastic or glass or both? ANSWER: Mainly plastic but also glass haemocytometer.
