- Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Regional Office located in Loveland, CO has a requirement for copper wire (#2 solid soft drawn bare). The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price, contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Loveland, Colorado and Montrose, Colorado. FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a competitive, total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 331420; the applicable size standard is 1,000 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about March 5, 2018, at which time all information and attachments regarding the RFQ will be posted. Contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at time of quote submission in order to be considered for award. DUNS number is required for SAM registration. NOTE: Quotes shall be due by 2:00 p.m. EDT on March 14, 2018. All responses to this RFQ shall be emailed to the Contracting Officer (hammans@wapa.gov) or via electronically via Fedconnect.
