This synopsis/solicitation WC-133W-18-RQ-0183 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-97. This solicitation is conducted as a total small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 541990-All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division - Kansas City, is seeking to purchase upper air observation services using the NOAA Radiosonde Replacement System (RRS) for the Weather Service Contract Meteorological Observatory (WSCMO) located in Chatham, MA, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in the solicitation document. The requirement is for taking, documenting, and disseminating upper air Rawinsonde observations and taking and reporting cooperative and supplemental weather observations for the National Weather Service (NWS).
