- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 4100 West Third St., Dayton, OH 45428, is announcing their requirement for on-site Interventional Radiology Physician Services. It is anticipated that a single firm-fixed price contract with a base year and four one-year options will result from the solicitation. The contractor will provide board certified interventional radiologists necessary to provide professional interventional radiology physician services in accordance with the specifications contained in the forthcoming solicitation, to beneficiaries of the VA and the Dayton VAMC. The VA radiology services are accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and follow the standards and guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology (ACR). A contractor providing on-site interventional radiologist services will provide services that meet or exceed ACR guidelines: http://www.acr.org/Quality-Safety/Standards-Guidelines/Practice-Guidelines-by-Modality/Interventional. Performance of the radiologic procedures will be conducted at the Dayton VAMC by VA and Contractor staff. The interpretive analysis will be performed on-site by both VA and contract personnel. A 0.5 FTE is required for this contract, for a total of 1040 hours per year (one full time equivalent (FTE) is defined by the VA as 80 hours every two weeks; 2080 hours per year). Normal business hours for Interventional Radiology is Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Work schedules will conform to service requests within these hours. The Principle NAICS Code is 621111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists). The size standard is $11 Million. The PSC is Q522 Medical-Radiology. The RFP reference is 36C25018R0453 Interventional Radiology Physician Services and should be referenced in all correspondence/inquires. The RFP will be posted to FedBizOpps websites on or about March 12, 2018 with proposals due on or about April 9, 2018. These dates are subject to change. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the FBO website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for checking the website periodically for amendments. No hard copies will be provided. A question period will be opened at time of solicitation posting and will close 10 days after solicitation posting. Questions must be submitted in writing. Answers will be provided via amendment after question period closing. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. No response to this notification is necessary. The sole purpose is to provide interested parties with a preliminary notice of the forthcoming solicitation.
