Description

This is a special notice in accordance with FAR 5.205. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration intends to award a purchase order for Audio Visual (AV) equipment and conference space rental in accordance with FAR Part 13 in support of the Veterans Benefits Administration Director s Symposium Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. The Seelbach Hilton Hotel located at 500 South Fourth Street, Louisville, KY, 40202 has been selected as the conference location for the attendees. AV equipment and conference space rental are required to support this training event. Market research was conducted and several quotes were received for this conference, which included AV equipment and conference space rental. Based on market research and the competitive quotes received, the Seelbach Hilton Hotel represents the best value to the Government, all factors considered. A purchase order in the amount of $44,427.65 will be awarded to the Seelbach Hilton for the requirement for AV equipment and conference space rental. In addition to the Seelbach Hotel representing the best value to the Government as far as price reasonableness, the Selbach Hotel is in close proximity to the airport, local transportation, and walkability to restaurants for the attendees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES.
