Description

Wilmington VA Medical Center (WVAMC), Contracting Department intends to procure via sole source with Government Scientific Source Inc, for full service and maintenance on two (2) tissue processors Pathos and Logos, for the Erie VAMC located at 135 East 38th Street Blvd Erie, PA 16504. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 339112.   The size standard is 1,000 employees. The FSC is 6515.   The proposed contract action is for service and maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement must submit information about their capabilities no later than 12:00 PM EST, 03/13/2018.   All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.   No solicitation will be made available. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, April.Stanch@va.gov.     Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VAMC Contracting Department will proceed with the sole source negotiation with GSS Inc.
